Disabling Call Forwarding

Overview

If you wish to stop redirecting calls to a different number, you should disable the call forwarding feature for your user. This article describes the steps to accomplish this in the My Phone Next portal, the UC-One Carrier Connect mobile application, and the UC-One Communicator desktop application.

My Phone Next

  1. Log in to the My Phone Next portal.
  2. Navigate to Call Settings > Incoming Calls.
  3. Click on the slider in front of Call Forwarding to disable all call forwarding options.

Mobile

  1. Log in to the UC One Carrier Connect mobile app.
  2. Open the side navigation menu by tapping the icon at the top-left corner.

  3. Go to Settings > Call Settings > Incoming Calls.
  4. Expand the Call Forwarding section.
  5. Disable all call forwarding options (Always, When No Answer, When Busy, When Not Reachable).

Desktop

  1. Log in to the Communicator desktop app.
  2. Click on the Options icon on the menu on the left.
  3. Select the Incoming Calls option from the dropdown list at the top.
  4. Expand the Call Forwarding section.
  5. Uncheck all call forwarding options (Always, When No Answer, When Busy, When Not Reachable).

Testing

Once the feature has been disabled, Call Forwarding will be OFF. All inbound calls that were being redirected to another number will stop being rerouted and the user will receive the calls in the application.
