Can a User be Assigned to More Than One Hunt Group?

This article provides information about whether a regular user in the Broadcloud hosted phone system can be part of different Hunt Groups at the same time.

Information

Hunt Groups are used to distribute calls from a single line to multiple users in the hosted phone system. Regardless of the configuration of the Hunt Group, a user can be assigned or added to multiple hunt groups simultaneously.

Calls to the user will be routed only when the extension is not busy and the caller ID will provide information about the Hunt Group that is routing the call. If a Hunt Group's Caller ID is set to Marketing and the caller is John Smith, the caller ID label would appear as Marketing - John Smith.
